Executive Coaching

Executive coaching for senior leaders navigating complexity, change, and what comes next.

I am a Chartered and registered Occupational Psychologist, Chartered Coaching Psychologist, and accredited executive coach with over 15 years’ experience supporting leaders and senior executives across public and private sector organisations.

 

My work focuses on helping experienced leaders navigate complexity—whether that is organisational change, increased responsibility, career transition, or the quieter question of how they want their leadership and working life to feel at this stage.

Alongside my coaching practice, I hold a Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology, an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology, and a BA in Psychology. I am registered with theHCPC and chartered with the British Psychological Society, and I am a Certified Business Psychologist with the Association of Business Psychologists.

 

While my credentials and experience matter, clients typically come to work with me because I offer a calm, thoughtful, and psychologically informed space to think clearly and make sound decisions. My work blends psychological knowledge and an understanding of the role based on my previous career as MD in financial services.

My coaching approach

I work with senior leaders and midlife professionals who want space to think clearly, make confident decisions, and shape a working life that feels both successful and sustainable.

I offer a psychologically safe, confidential space where leaders can slow down, reflect, and explore what is really going on beneath the surface — while still staying connected to purpose, accountability, and action. 

 

A defining feature of my work is the balance I hold between kindness and structure. I support clients to explore their values, identity, motivations, and ambitions, while also providing clarity, challenge, and focus. Clients are encouraged to develop their reflective practice and insight is always linked to intentional action. 

 

Leaders often tell me they value the combination of warmth and rigour in the coaching space: feeling understood and supported, while also being gently stretched to move forward. 

 

My style is adaptable and responsive, allowing me to work effectively across different sectors, cultures, and leadership contexts. 

I have worked with leaders at different stages of their leadership and career journey, including: 

 

Healthcare leadership programmes 
Coaching senior leaders across 18 cohorts over a four-year period as part of a six-month, university-led leadership development programme. Coaching focused on career development, managing complexity, work–life balance, and meeting organisational goals within demanding systems. 

 

NHS senior leaders 
Providing individual coaching to senior leaders, including those preparing for board-level progression, with a focus on strategic leadership, resilience, confidence, and professional growth. 

 

CEO transition coaching 
Supporting a charity CEO through her first year in role, with emphasis on confidence, influence, strategic relationships, and leadership presence. 

 

International leadership programmes 
Delivering virtual executive coaching for participants in INSEAD University programmes, supporting executive presence, influence, trust-building, and organisational effectiveness. 

 

Education sector leadership 
Coaching deputy head teachers and head teachers to support leadership development, career planning, and professional direction. 

 

Career transitions in midlife 
Developing and applying a coaching model for midlife career transitions based on my doctoral research, and regularly supporting individuals exploring career change, portfolio careers, and new ways of working.

Over time, many leaders describe feeling more grounded in themselves, clearer in their thinking, and more confident in how they show up at work and beyond.

Coaching packages include

​

  • One off 2 hour coaching session to discuss immediate or pressing leadership or career challenges. Pre coaching session meeting and follow up report confirming agreed actions and suggested further reading or activities - investment £1,000.

  • Monthly 1 hour sessions to provide space to do deep work to meet your leadership or career needs. Includes in between session check ins with Clare, activities and knowledge sharing to support your needs and leadership expertise. Summary of agreed actions shared post session. Sessions can be agreed for 6 or 12 months. Longer agreement tends to suit senior leaders or those new to leadership who want a longer engagement to suit their strategic career plans. 

    • Investment for 6 months £3,000.

    • Investment for 12 months £5,400.
