Book Launch/Celebration

For my book ‘Supporting Midlife Career Transitions through Coaching: A Psychological Guide’ I held a book launch/celebration

I wanted the launch to feel more like a celebration with my friends and community. Everyone had been so supportive during the book creation journey and I wanted to be able to celebrate with people and have chance to thank them.

The launch was held in Hoole Community Centre in Chester near to where we live. Community is important to me and this is an area we spend a lot of time in so it felt like the perfect spot. Also it had parking which is always a challenge in Chester, and it was dog friendly so we could bring Murphy and some Murphys friends (and parents) could come too.

Was such a wonderful evening. The room was filled with celebration and love. Although I was very nervous before, these nerves were removed when I saw all the support.

We had some nice food and drinks, and amazing cupcakes baked by a local baker that everyone loved.

After some mingling, I did a talk on why I wrote the book and some key insights from the book.

There was then some time to sign books for people who wanted on. Surreal experience to be signing my book for others.

I am very grateful to everyone who came, and also to everyone who wished me the best for the evening.
